Nursery for kits

Frozensoul walked into the den with PureStar on his shoulder and Quickkit in his jaws. He lead his leader to an already made nest for her before setting down the kit, "I'll get ya something to eat," He whispered before dashing out and coming back in with a plump vole in his jaws. Setting it down did he shift akwardly as if he was waiting for her to shoo him away.

"Thank you Frozensoul" she smiled taking the plump vole from her warrior. She curled her kits close to her belly before dismissing him. "You can leave now" she smiled her voice still weak. She looked down at her precious kits a smile on her maw.

Jumpkit moeowed helplessly before pushing himself to the scent of milk. His stubby short legs didn't really help him as he rolled around attempting to eat.

Purestar let out an adoring laugh before scooping the kit up with a paw and pulling him closer to her belly. She did the same with Quickkit before turning her head to the entrance. "Oh, wait, Frozensoul? I need one more thing. Can you go to the medicine cat den and get borage?" she asked politely just as the tom was exiting.

Frozen froze before nodding and trotting out.

"Thank you Frozensoul" she smiled dipping her head to her warrior.

Jumpkit peeked through his eyes. Seeing everything did he yowl out, alarm in his voice when he seen a big cat in front of him. Who on earth is she? Is she my dam? And is that a another one of me? he thought to himself as he gazed at the two she-cats. He shrugged it off before testing out his legs.

Purestar touched her nose to Jumpkit and purred warmly "Hello, Jumpkit" she smiled her kind blue eyes meeting his.

Jumpy jerked his head back as her cold nose touched his. Her purr made him feel safe, "Hi!" He squealed back at her, "who's that?" he looked at the she kit before glancing back at PureStar.

Purestar smiled brightly before speaking "Thats your sister, Quickkit" she purred warmly.

Quickkit? What a hilarious name! he thought to himself, where are we? Who am I? Who are you?" he asked in a rush enjoying the feeling of understanding fill his body.

"We're in the Eagleclan nursery, young one. Your name is Jumpkit, im your mother, Purestar" she said her whiskers twitching.

Jumpkit grind cheekily at his name, "why Jumpkit? Who's EagleClan" his eyes widened as he looked up at his mother.

"Eagleclan is a big clan of cats, theres also Hawkclan, Vultureclan, and Owlclan" she explained and licked his forehead "Because when you were born, you had long, strong legs. They will be great for jumping up and at prey when your old enough" she smiled.

Jumpy's eyes glowed in amazment before he walked closer to her belly, "Wanna see the Clan! Can I?" He squeked loudly as he waited for a reply.

Rushingpaw would silently make his way into the nursery den, in hi mouth he carried a fat thrush. He was barely trudging his way through the den towards Purestar. He laid his prey down at her paws and turned to walk away without saying a word-

Jumpkit froze at the sudden noise, a much larger tom came in with something feathery in his mouth. He cringed closer to PureStar's belly, he was still curious about the tom but didn't have enough time to take him all in. "Why does your name have the word 'star' at the end, unlike mine says 'kit'," the tom look almost like a mini twin of his Dam, only his curled up ears broke the twin alliance., "Are you special!" His voice chirped as he stumbled to get up, once up he was wobbly with his long legs but got his footing right away. Feeling comfortable on four legs did he move closer to his dams face, taking in her features. Cocking his head with two paws on her nose did he wait for a response.

"Well, you will become an apprentice and will be called Jumppaw, then you will be a warrior and get a special warrior name! But, i was chosen for a special place in the clan. I was made a deputy and when the clan leader died, i took his place as clan leader. Leader's names have 'star' at the end of it as a sign of respect to Starclan" she purred, noticing his curiosity. "Thats Rushingpaw, hes an apprentice. His mentor is Hollowsoul. Thanks Rushingpaw!" she called as the apprentice left.

He glanced back with a curt nod, the apprentice was limping badly on his left back leg and he had sweat dripping down his forhead. Him and his mentor had been gone all day from sunrise to sunset training. The training was already showing on rushingpaw-

The lot nodded before yawning, he put he paws back on the soft ground before curling up in the space of PureStar's chest and armpit. Sleeping in this area as his body soaked in her warmth.

She curled her paw forward, wrapping him up him her arm. She reached for Quickkit and did the same with her other arm. She curled them close and ket her head rest. A warm purr still rumbled from her throat and acted like a soothing lullaby.

Silverflight walked up slowely to Purestar "Um hello purestar...i heard about you and i wanted to ask if...if i could join Eagleclan my clan died off not long ago and i have been starving and left with no shelter and if you dont want me to join i understand.but if you will let me join i promise to uphold the warrior code with my life. and to protect this clan no matter what the costs."

Purestar looked up from her kits, she took a moment to take in the shecats state and think for a moment "Eagleclan would love to have you, Silverflight.." she said quietly so she wouldnt wake up her young children.

Silverflight:she dipped her head and said "Thank you Purestar may starclan have blessed your heart."

Purestar dipped her head back before speaking "You should go into the clearing and talk to Bluefrost, see if she has any duty for you to do today" she said quietly before realising Silverflight didnt know who Bluefrost is "Shes my deputy" she said hastily after that.
