Rushingkit's apprentice ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath Sky Rock for a clan meeting!" Purestar called out as she stood on top of the large rock. She looked down upon her clan her eyes shining "I gather you all here today to announce the apprenticeship of one of our kits. Rushingkit, please stand before Sky Rock" she spoke and watched the kit move up before speaking again "You have now reached the age of six moons and i think its time you become an apprentice and get a mentor. From this point on until you are skilled enough to be given a warrior name you shall be known as Rushingpaw" she said before looking around the clearing "The mentor i choose for you is highly skilled in battle even with his little downside in seeing abilities. He has an attitude a lot like yours which is why you never get along. I want you to learn from each others' mistakes and understand how much you two have in common and hopefully have a friendship later on in the future. Your mentor shall be Hollowsoul. Train your apprentice well, Hollowsoul, and teach him your powerful techniques in battle and hunting as you have to earlier apprentices" she spoke loud before hopping down to touch her chin to the new apprentice's head then direct him to where his new mentor was now padding up.

Hollowsoul padded up to touch noses with his newly named apprentice. He reached out his scarred nose and waited for Rushingpaw to touch his nose back with his own.

The kitten would pad forward, silently and steadily as he did. He raised his nose to his new mentor's nose and kinda twitched at the feel on its roughness. ~Yay.. A blind mentor.~-

"I know what you are thinking but even with his half blindness he is still the most skilled fighter in Eagleclan. And i would expect you, Rushingpaw, to show complete and utter respect to your new mentor at all costs. Am i clear?" Purestar said in an authoritative tone her eyes narrowed.

Hollowsoul touched nose to his apprentice's before taking a step back. He noticed the twitch and let out a faint sigh this is going to be a looong six moons he thought his yellow and red/white eyes on his new aprrentice "I know you dont like me, i dont expect you to. But soon your going to have to understand the fact that you dont have a choice. So you might as well get over it and get used to it because i'll be training you for six moons and over if necessary. So the least you could do is start now. I didnt really like my mentor but you cant change who the leader chose for you. Purestar did it for a reason and you'll see why in the future" he said to his new apprentice.

SnowFlower smiles at Rushingpaw. "Rushingpaw, Rushingpaw!" She flicks her tail and mews happily.

Emberflame called out softly "Rushingpaw! Rushingpaw! Rushingpaw!"

Hollowsoul called out loudly for his new apprentice "Rushingpaw! Rushingpaw! Rushingpaw!"

Rushingpaw would glance around at his clanmates. The tom's deep clear blue eyes would turn to the sky rock, his head aimed to Purestar and the sky-"Hopefully, i'm a good tool for Starclan to use."-he says, not meaning to be rude but just saying it-

Hollowsoul bent his head down "You'll do fine, you will make a great warrior with the right training" he said with encouragement.

"If my mentor doesn't go soft on me."-he says head butting his shoulder before he laughs softly and pads away from the crowd-

"Oh ill make sure im not then!" he said shoving Rushingpaw back lightly and playfully but almost knocking him off his paws. Hollowsoul's whiskers twitched as he growled playfully "I will make you train out of your pelt!" he growled playfully before tackling Rushingpaw to the ground.

He would immediately go limp under his mentors weight and rush to his paws and spinning perfectly with his hindleg grazing his mentors neck fur and he blinks, bewildered by his own move.-"What did I just do?"

"A battle move, genious. One ive seen before, good job, but i couldve easily ducked down and flashed out a paw, knocking your front legs out from underneith you and making you buckle. But i let you to see what your weaknesses and strengths are" he explained with a smile.
