It is Ryan. Did you know that lions dont have leaders. Just one male who fights until he becomes dominent and his mate just becomes the queen.

What if my character is a new leader. No mate so there isn't a queen.

Well once more members join and more females join in your pride you get to choose whom your 'mate' will be. You lead that pride meaning you choose whos in what rank.
