The Camp's Entrance

"I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO!" he screeched, what he was saying sounded like nonsense. "I DIDNT WANT TO DO IT!" he repeated over and over again. Another image flashed past his gaze, three adult cats taunting him and laughing as one batted Emberflame around, clawing him. "STOP IT! STOP HURTING ME!" he yowled sounding like a phsycotic, histerical cat. "I DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO YOU! STOP LAUGHING!" he yowled out, his paws flailing. This happened once a moon, sometimes twice. Emberflame's horrid past was a scar on his mind.

OceanEyes got to his paws and padded to MossPaw. "Is there any herb you can give him?" He asked, looking down at the psychotic warrior. "What's wrong with him?" He muttered, tilting his head to the side.

"EmberFlame, your safe. You never did anything wrong. You never did, now please eat these," the little tom gave him the tansy, "its a yummy leaf. Just try it," Mosspaw urged the hysterical tom to eat at least the tansy. Mosspaw shook his head to OceanEyes, "he must be having a hysterical meltdown about something. By the looks of it he was forced to do what ever... Try waving this around his nose. Make sure he can smell it I'll be right back" he whispered before walking to his den to grab stuff.

"WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME HERE!?" He yowled his breathing quick and heavy.

OceanEyes nodded, before taking the herb and copying the apprentice's instructions. "You're in a safe place, EmberFlame. Nothing bad is happening, or is going to happen. You're safe in EagleClan." He calmly meowed, his blue eyes remaining cool and mellow.

The tom came out with poppy seeds and Thyme. Eat this too EmberFlame," he said as he gave two poppy seeds enough to have him calm down.

"Stop it... I didnt want to.. You would've done the same thing... We were only kits, we were scared and hungry.. One of us had to live and you were... weaker..! Forgive me... Forgive me... Forgive me...." he whispered, repeating 'forgive me' over and over again. Emberflame was sobbing, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Mosspaw groaned to himself, he was beginning to lose his patience. "EmberFlame snap out of it! You need to eat these now! It's Mosspaw, your fine, your well." the pale tom raised his voice but not to startle the tom. He got low and looked directly into his eyes waiting for some kind of reaction.

"They wont help... My pain is eternal, what happened cannot be changed or forgotten" his voice was quiet. "I..... ate her.... She should've lived.. I was selfish and thought only of myself. She hates me. My best friend, my only friend... Smudge is a blood stain on my memory that i cant forget" he murmered.

Rushingpaw would immediately back up with fright in his eyes. The tom was scared out of his little mind, ears were flat against his head trying to block the sound out, his paws against his head. His ears hurt like crazy-"Meow!!!!"

"Im a monster" he said burying his face in his paws and hunching his shoulders.

"Rushingpaw go somewhere else," the pale med tom looked him in the eye before turning, "Look at me and keep your eyes on me, only me. Open then and keep them open. You not a monster, monsters curl up and shut down. Eat two of these seeds. Just enough for you to relax." He said as he waited

OceanEyes glittering blue eyes widened in surprise. 'He what? He... He ate someone? A cat?' The lynx point's shoulders tensed in horror.

He nodded and ate the seeds. then lied there on his side pitifully. He couldnt control when this happened, his phsycotic breaks, but he wished sometimes for other people to understand that. People treated him like a freak. Gave his weird stares. Making each one more worse then the last...

Streamsong padded over to Emberflame and Mosspaw, "Good job, Mosspaw," She said before turning to Emberflame. Streamsong turned to Oceaneyes, "Just give him some space, hes already starting to calm down." She said before turning back to Mosspaw, "You and I will stay with Emberflame." Streamsong ordered.

His head ached. He drew his paw up to his mouth and wiped the white foam off his lips and maw. Sometimes when this happened, his mind might play tricks on him for a few hours, or a few days. He looked past Streamsong and saw a small shadow that took shape into the form of a small kit. Its fur was black and white and it had pretty reddish amber eyes. A small Emberflame then took shape. The small black and white kit chased the little Emberflame around, they both let out giggles and laughed when they pounced on each other. "I remember that day..." he said, even though he knew no one else saw it.

OceanEyes cocked an eyebrow before nodding and backing away. "I'm going hunting," He meowed, before bounding out the entrance,

Streamsong turned to Emberflame as he spoke, "Just take it easy," She mumured. Streamsong then sat down and carefully watched Emberflame.

He would stay curled up for a few more moments. He had no family in the clan so he figured no one was watching or paying attention to him. He tucked in his ears and unsheathed his claws clawing at his ears-

Mosspaw sighed softly before going to the medicine cat den to put the herbs back and pick up some things. The small tom made a bed for EmberFlame and dipped some moss into water before bounding back, "dirk some." the young tom said in a stern ton but had his eyes warm up.

In his eyes, sticky, scarlet red drops fell from the moss ball. His mind turning the water into blood. He knew it wasn't real, but when he lapped at the water it tasted like blood too, warm and sticky.

SnowFlower slowly walks out of the warrior den. She sits down in the middle of the camp and looks around. Her eyes look at Emberflame. She tilts her head and walks to him. Snow softly nudges him and flicks her tail. "Emberflame, anything wrong?" She asks him softly and calmly.

"it happened again..." he said, referring to his psychotic breaks.

"Oh... do you think you need to visit the medicine cat?" SnowFlower asks him with her beautiful voice. She stares at him with her blue eyes.

"It doesn't matter, it never helps" he murmured quietly.
