Camp Entrance

RoseStar stared out her den and sighed wondering about almost everything She sighed and looked around

The beautiful silky-furred white medicine cat walked towards the leader and sat "Whats troubling you?" she said in a honey-sweet tone. Shywhisper waited for her leaders answer quietly concern in the white cat's pale green gaze.

"Many things Shywhisper....Past thing and the future...good things becoming bad...and what the other clans may thing of us...Its just something leaders worry about I guess..." I mew calmly but with a slight worried tone

"Why would you be worried about what the other clans think? If you stop worrying about the other clans your proformance in YOUR clan will be better." she said in a wise tone, even though the medicine cat was young. "Dont give me that 'but its harder than you think' look. Foxdung! You chose to be clan leader, live with the problems. Stop worrying about the past because its already happened, you cant change it! And stop worrying about the future because you cant predict it! Starclan takes care of that for us, you just have to have faith Rosestar" she turned her green gaze on the hazel colored shecat and sighed "Worry about the cats in the clan currently and not about future stuff, if it happens, it happens, we cant change that. So dont worry about it" she mewed simply as if she figured it all out when she was younger.

"Your right Shywhisper,thank you" I mew flicking my tail "we should start with some hunting patrols,fresh kill is plentiful now and we should gather it while we can"

Shywhisper dipped her head "And I really should be gathering more herbs, they get frost-bite in leaf-bare and they all shrivel up. I especially need for Marigold, Juniper, and as much Cat mint possible just in case green cough visits us" she got up and hopped towards the entrance in a hurry. She turned her head "Leaf-bare is almost here and i want you to keep your warriors fed, so do me a favor and be our strong leader again" She dissapeared through the entrance her bushy white tail-tip the last thing seen.

I nod an purr slightly then ask the deputy if she/could set up some hunting parties "i will also join in hunting" I mew

SkunkPaw quickly looked around at the little camp. The base looked empty. Where were all the cats? She sniffed around there were scents of some cats but not a lot of them.

Shywhisper burst into the camp shrieking in terror a clump of horse tail and marigold in her mouth. The medicine cat flung wildly up the Tall Rock and yowled "Rosestar! Clan meeting! Immediately!!!!" she was panicked, blood tricking down from her beautiful silky pelt.

SkunkPaw watched silently. Would she become an Aprentice of this clan? She had changed her name to fit the Aprentices so would she be accepted? Stepping forth out of the bushes she said. "Hello are you looking for new members?" She asked timidly.

I nod at shywhisper and look over at skunkpaw "give me a second please" I mew

Waterpool padded into the camp. She had hoped to join the clan she found here. She kept her tail lowered, not trying to seem threatening. But she couldn't help her large size. She was about to speak to the cat who seemed to be the leader when she noticed they seemed busy. She backed up, waiting until she seemed to be free.

"Rosestar me and the warrior you sent to help me gather my herbs have encountered something dangerous to all the clans!" she was breathing heavily still blood dripping from her side from a long scratch from some animal. "There is a new creature in the forest! Nothing me or Starclan has ever seen! Not since the times of Lionclan, Tigerclan, Leopardclan. It is a humongous cat with a tawny pelt! And huge fiery amber eyes and teeth and claws that are so big they look unreal! They attacked me when i was about to gather catmint in the forest! The clans are in grave danger!" she breathed her pale green eyes filled with horror "Its growl sounds like a monster that prowls the thunderpath!" she spotted the hazel-colored leader before speaking "What are we to do, Rosestar! With this beast that looks like the son of Sharp-tooth, the huge cat we hear in stories?"

SkunkPaw listened and said. "I could help with it. Maybe I can show my loyalty by doing so." Maybe this was her chance to join the clan? Would she be a warrior hopfully.

"Perhaps I could help as well? I can fight well." The grey blue she cat said quietly. She tried not to bother the leader, yet she really wanted to join. Living on her own had been too rough on the good natured cat.

"Well i hope so, you will be good warriors. What are your names young cats of the forest?" the medicine cat asked looking soothed that with more warriors Owlclan will stand a chance. "Well, my names Shywhisper, im the medicine cat of the clan" she looked at her long scratch and shuffled through the herbs she brought into camp taking out a couple golden flowers. The herb was called Marigold, used so cuts dont get infected. She started to shred them with a paw claws unsheathed, then chewed them into a poultuice and spat it out on a broad leaf. She hopped down and went to her cave and when she came out she was holding a wad of cobwebs and moss. She cleaned and soaked up the blood with the moss, then put cobwebs on it to stop the bleeding. After it ceased bleeding she dabbed a paw in the poultuice and licked it off her paw. Then licked it into her long scratch.

Waterpool stood in awe of how quickly the medicine cat solved the problem of her cuts. She shook her head to answer the cats question. "My name is Waterpool." The large she cat said. She purred slightly. Maybe this meant she would be accepted? "Nice to meet you Shywhisper." She said kindly, a small smile on her face.

"You can all help but we need to act quickly" I mew jumping onto the high ledge

Waterpool turned to the leader. "Right." She said. The blue grey cat nodded kindly to the medicine cat, then padded after the leader, sitting below to high ledge.

SkunkPaw nodded to the medicine cat and said. "My name is Skunk but I changed it to SkunkPaw so I was ready to become an Aprentice if a clan." Looking to the leader she silenced herself.

Suddenly the pure white medicine cat froze, her fur rising, her breath quickened. "Starclan..?" she whispered, she saw a sparkling transperent cat walking towards her. She instantly recognized the stocky built "Owlstar..?" she smiled her tail curling "What are we to do about this creature..?" she whispered. The tom sighed and spoke "Four alone will not defeat. But all as one it will retreat" the tom spoke in a wise voice "Wh-what do you mean?" the tom began to fade and she gasped "Wait! Dont go! Tell me what you mean!" she cried but the tom had faded all together. She let out a groan and sighed "I guess Starclan is allergic to giving strait answers" she murmered and turned her head to Rosestar "Starclan has spoken. Owlstar said.. 'Four alone with not defeat. But all together it will retreat' that is the message Starclan has wished to share with me" her mew turned hushed, as if puzzled.
