The Abandoned Hospital

"That's cause she has two. One of them is real, the other I don't know. This 'Mr.H' is the bad one and this 'E' is good" Toby explained quietly. "She's got such an odd pelt" he chuckled softly, fluffing out her bushy dark ginger pelt that had black stripes and numerous white patches everywhere. She didn't move, the poor kit was so tired she didn't even react to Toby messing with her fur. "She trusts me, I can feel it from her heartbeat" he said.

Baxter's ears drooped downwards "and ill just be the guy no one likes because he is a vampire with a sis who hates him that he still lives with" he sighed "anyway thank you...I guess ill being going now,c-catcha later~" he tried to sound flirty and the end,failing miserably

"Why not stay? I wouldn't mind talking to you" Toby said. The small kit stirred, and curled as close as she could against Toby when she heard Mr.H begin talking to her in her unconscious state. He could feel her heart pick up speed. He knew it was probably a nightmare she needs sleep he thought. But he began to think twice as she tensed up.

he looked over at the kit "Ok...ill stay..." he wondered if he should wake the kit up,he knew she needed sleep,but she looked scared

She began breathing rapidly in panic. She couldn't wake up! She tried to move but... Couldn't. She couldn't do anything. She lay there, tense, shivering, and breathing hard in her fear. He began murmuring to her softly again "It can't hurt you.... Shhhh.... Your ok here... Don't listen to it.... It can't scare you if you aren't afraid" he continued to murmur softly to her.

he watched not knowing what to do at all,he hoped Toby could do something to calm her down as he stayed frozen in place

Soon the kit colasped alittle ways from the hospital,the rose still in her jaws

She couldn't move at all. What was wrong? Her breath hitched in fear as her eyes popped open. She let out a terrified high-pitched scream and gripped Toby frantically for protection. Protection from something that wasn't there. She turned her gaze to the corner "He's right there! He's right there!" She sobbed, continuing to grip Toby tightly. Toby looked. Nothing was there.

"uhhhh..." he looked around not seeing anything "I don't see anything..." he mumbles

"But he's right there I see him!" She cried, hugging Toby tightly for protection. "Calm down, he's there but I promised I wouldn't let him hurt you kid. You have to trust me" he said calmly. Her breath still hitched, but she nodded. "Believe in that" he said. "Your going to be fine. Just fine" he continued to say softly. She turned her head and let out a breath "He's gone" she said quietly. "Thank you, Toby" she said and continued to hug him tightly. "Thank you" she said softly. "Don't mention it kid" he grinned.

"Awwwww you guys are cute together!" Baxter let up from his depressed mood for a moment before going back to it

Toby turned and glared with his dark colored gaze. "Don't make me regret inviting you back to chat" he said in a somewhat joking tone. "She's a work in progress, but I'll help her the best I can. I'll help her through like Slendy helped me through" he grinned.

his ears folded even though he knew he was somewhat joking "good ill also help...if I can"

Dread stayed close to Toby and followed him down from the bed. He chuckled at the way she stayed close to him and followed him everywhere "I got me a posse!" he grinned.  Sorrow suddenly burst through th door "I heard a scream, is Dread ok?" she asked in alarm. Toby waved a paw and nodded, gesturing to Suicidal Dread. "Shes not dead yet" he said jokingly. Sorrow fluffed out her pelt "Not funny..." she said. Toby let out a groan "Shes fiiiiine ok? Look!" he picked her up and moved her around so Sorrow could see her whole body "She aint hurt! Just another Schitzophrenia attack" he said casually. "What? Thats not something you just brush off Toby!" Sorrow said in alarm. Toby shrugged "Shes fine now i helped her calm down!" he said in defence.

"And I haven't hurt her either,if your wondering" Baxter sighed looking at Sorrow

"Good. No one hurts her. We need to observe her for certain reasons" she said. Dread didnt move from her spot close to Ticci-Toby, and he didnt object either. He felt like a big brother to this little kit.

and Baxter felt useless,feeling his ego as a cold blooded killer who raped,stalked and flirted dieing "a-alright...I wasn't going to anyway..."

"Good" she repeated. She saw the way Dread stayed close to the tom, and looked like she wanted to stay that way. She sighed "I just wanted to make sure shes ok" Sorrow said and dipped her head, backing up and back into the hallways. Dread pulled Toby's sleeve lightly to get his attention. "Uh, Toby? Can i have something to eat..?" she asked, a bit of guilt in her voice. Toby noticed this and chuckled "Theres nothing wrong with being hungry, so dont feel guilty. Baxter, you up for hunting actual prey and not a feline for once?" he said with a cheeky grin.

he smiled slightly "yeah im cool with that" he jumped down from the bed

"Ill stay here with her" he said, turning his head to the little body standing next to him. "She shouldnt be left alone" he stated.

he nodded "be back in ten minutes" he ran off towards the the forest

Dread dropped her gaze to the floor before closing her eyes tight. "You're not real... Your not real...." she said over and over again. "You ok kid?" he asked, turning his dark colored eyes to Dread. "You're not real. YOU'RE NOT REAL!" she said loudly. "Hey kid calm down! Remember what i said, ok?" he said calmly.  "Theyre going to protect me... You cant hurt me anymore..!" she said somehwat aggresivly. "No! I wont let you!" she yelled. "NO!" she snapped. "NONONONONONONO!!" she yelled louder, panic beginning to lace her voice. "You're lying! I didnt kill them! I didnt kill them! I didnt kill them i didnt kill them i DIDNT KILL THEM!" she repeated over and over again, each time getting louder. "THAT WAS YOU! NOT ME!" she yelled, accusing no one. Toby carefully put a paw on her back reassuringly, only to have it shoved off as she began laughing. "Calm down Dread" Toby said cautiously. "Calm down? Calm down!? Im calm!" she laughed. She stood there, laughing for what seemed like forever before she took a step towards Toby. "Im very calm" she continued, still laughing. The tugging feeling in her chest shot a pain of urge through her body, making her short of breath. But she still laughed. She suddenly leapt at Toby, her claws unsheathed. Theres something not right, this isnt her. Dont hurt her Toby, get through to her he reminded himself as he intercepted the tackle and rolled to a point where he pinned her. "Just breathe kid" he said. "Remember, you're ok here with us" he said encouragingly. The kit wriggled, trying to free her paws and letting out grunts of effort. "Shhhhh....." he said quietly. Her struggles began quieting, until she stopped all together. Her head dropped back against the ground. She had easily been defeated by the trained killer due to her small size. "Let it go" he said calmly. "Let it all go. Even if it was your fault, it happened. You have to let it go before you can help yourself" he said knowingly. Something in her gaze flickered. She suddenly looked guilty "Im sorry Toby, i didnt want to. I couldnt stop" she said and began crying. Toby got off the kit and put a gloved paw around her. "Its alright, im not hurt am i? Its ok" he said and pulled the kit next to him with a sweep of his paw. "You're one of my only friends. I wont let it make me try and hurt you ever again" she said and hugged him tightly. He chuckled and patted her back roughly "Yeah well id like to see him try" he said jokingly in return.

Baxter came back with a crow and a mouse looking at Dread and Toby "uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh did something happen to Dread again?"

(That's what me and Wind were saying via text XD I'm thinking about having her stay with Tobes since he seems like the only person who knows what it's like to have Skitzophrenia and how to help)

"Something took control of her and tried to murder me. Nothing much" he said sarcastically and shrugged his shoulders with a loud crack of his joints. "Why do you do that?" Dread asked, referring to the joint and bone cracking. "We'll I have Tourette's Syndrome" he replied "Oh" she said quietly. "Yep, it makes me tic, that's why cats call me Ticci-Toby" as if on cue his shoulder jerked with another loud crack.

"I think its weird,but cool" baxter smiled looking at Toby as he ticked
