Tall hill ( hunting/ gathering herbs)

"Thank you Starclan for this prey" she said before picking up the rabbit that was almost twice her size.

ShadowWhisper smiles. "I'm glad you're here. HawkClan will be very proud of you." She dips her head. "Let's go home."

"Ok! Lead the way ShadowWhisper!" She purred between the rabbit fur.

ShadowWhisper smiles at Shortkit. "Come on." She goes to the camp entrance.

-HawkClan Entrance-

Shortkit hobbled quickly after ShadowWhisper the rabbit dragging from her jaws
 
-Hawkclan Enterance-

Lurkingflame padded up the hill with his apprentice, Briarpaw, close behind him.

Briarpaw runs in front of Lurkingflame. "What are we going to do now?!" She jumps around him with excitement.

"Hunting crouch" he explained. He crouched down low and perfectly balanced. "Do what i do" he said.

Briarpaw does the hunting crouch. Her tail and her hind legs are up while the rest of her body is down. She looks at Lurkingflame for approval.

"Great job, Hawkclan is known for its fast warriors. I was trained vigorously so i could be the fast cat i am. I want you to run up and down the hill 5 times, Briarpaw" he said his tail flicking.

Briarpaw dips her head. She runs up the hill five times. She reaches her mentor so quickly that he looked like she ran three times. She walks in front of Lurkingflame and looks up at him.

"Good, now, I will run with you this time" he said before turning towards the dip of the hill. "One.. Two... Three... Now!" he shot forward his black paws barley skimming the ground with his immense speed. His spine curled inwards in a perfect arc before stretching out again in a powerful bound.

Briarpaw dashes off as soon as Lurkingflame said go. She quickly passes him in seconds. She uses her powerful legs to dodge any obstacle. She uses her flexible back to run freely.

Lurkingflame let out a soft laugh before picking up speed and repassing his apprentice in seconds. When he hit the end of the hill he jumped, planted his paws in the soil hard and spinned turning and shooting fast up the hill leaving his apprentice in the dust. He had learned this move when turning by his mentor. He was the one of the fastest warriors. You would think by looking at him that he was a young warrior, but he was a senior warrior.

Briarpaw picks up the speed quickly and passes Lurkingflame again. She leaps over a tree trunk before disappearing into the bushes. She keeps running with all her speed and endurance. With her lightning fast speed, she is nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly a crackling sound is heard "Huh?" Lurkingflame looks around. He turns his head when suddenly a loud, monster-like roar echos from a bush a bit down the hill. A giant, tawny pelted cat lunges from the bushes. Its 50 times the size of Lurkingflame. He lets out a low cry of terror and turns to flee. The cougar sinks its teeth into Lurkingflame and picks him off the ground like a peice of fresh-kill. The cougar is holding him by the flanks and begins shaking him rapidly, its teeth tearing through flesh and tissue. Lurkingflame lets out loud, shrill, cries of pain and terror.

Briarpaw looks back when she hears a sound. She then runs back to check on Lurkingflame. She sees the cougar and snarls. I should use my speed... Briarpaw leaps on top of the cougar. She sinks all of her claws into its neck and bites its head hard. Star Clan help us!

The cougar lets out a thundering roar of surprise and anger. He lets go of Lurkingflame sending him soaring into the grass and toppling down the hill head over heels. The cougar then jumps in the air and lands on its back, crushing whatever is on him with his immense weight.

Briarpaw jumps off the cougar's back as soon as it moves, but she was a little late. She cougar lands on her tail. She growls and hisses at it. She turns her body and claws its eye. Briarpaw then retreats to Lurkingflame to check on him.

(lol which eye? Silentpaw of Vultureclan blinded one of its eyes already. Ill just say you clawed his blind eye 'kay?)

The cougar let out a loud bellow befor swiping a paw at the shecat, hitting her on the flank, and sending her soaring.

(Okay, that's fine. :3)

Briarpaw catches herself after being hit. She snarls and flattens her ears. She just crouches low and waits for the cougar to make it's move.

Instead of attacking Briarpaw again, the cougar lunged over the shecat and shot down the hill after his original, and unconscious, prey Lurkingflame. He picked up the limp tom and shot away through the bushes.

Briarpaw quickly follows the cougar. She jumps on its back and rakes her claws into its sides. She bites its neck really hard. Star Clan help me!

The cougar wildly shook her off and dashed away, no cat would've been able to catch it. Soon the cougar, and Lurkingflame, disappeared over the hill.

Briarpaw stops and breaths heavily for air. She is very exhausted. Oh no! I've failed! Star Clan, please help Lurkingflame get away! Oh, I have to alert the clan. What will Shadow and his family say? When she gets enough energy, she dashes back to the camp.

-Hawk Clan Entrance-

Lurkingflame's body dangled like a ragdoll in the mouth of the cougar. The cougar continued to run, even though he knew he was safe now. He ran towards the trees in the distance his prey still unmoving and unconscious.
