The Abandoned Hospital

"Well kid you got your wish, go ahead and eat" he said as gestured to the mouse and bird. She nodded and gratefully ate the prey. She stretched out when she was done and yawned. Her eyes still drooped heavily after not sleeping for very long.

"I haven't tasted prey in forever,tastes bad to me now" he smirked laying down

Toby shrugged "Hey that's your fault Baxter" He said before looking over to see that Dread had once again pressed against his side and curled up. He chuckled and put his arm around her once more. "Kids tuckered out" he grinned.

"of course she is,shes been trying to run away from mr.h for weeks,and ohwell" he sighed "And she killed her mom and brother got rescued by Sorrow the new demon mom" he chuckled "Met me then met you fell asleep and so on and so on"

Dread had only listened to half of the conversation before she felt herself fall into a deep sleep. She stayed cuddled close to her new trusted friend. "I guess that'll do it to 'ya" he said.

he nodded "Oh also can I eat the cat with the black rose that has been dieing out there?" shes looks like a nuisance"

"I don't care do what you want" he shrugged. He looked at the child curled close and chuckled again "I feel like a big brother of sorts" he grinned.

"Its cute" he smiled "Sorrow is the mom,You are the big brother,and Dread is the little sister" he looked at Dread

"No fathers" he said with a crooked grin and turned his head back to Dread.

"no fathers" he agreed smirking lightly chuckling,pawing the felt on the bed

"I do find it odd that a cat whose a lot younger then me is my apparent 'mother' thought" he snickered, reffering to the fact that Sorrow was only 8 moons old and died at that age while Toby was 1 year and a half.

"Ohwell! the cutie really cares about Dread though,plus your kinda childish" He chuckled again,smiling "Not that being childish is a bad thing,its better to do childish than deadpan"

"You act like me acting this way is new" he chuckled softly. "The kid needed comfort and a friend. She's been through a lot at her age" he said. "It's not good for her sanity. We all lost ours, but I can tell she still has hers. She's trying her best to cope. Even though in the end she's going to lose it like the rest of us, I want her keep it for as long as she can" he sighed.

"I wish to aswell,a kit so young should keep all the sanity she has,or else shes gonna turn out like me,aside the from flirting rape,and cannibalism"

Dread began murmuring under her breath in her sleep "......Halfbreed......" Was the only word that Toby could make out. He tilted his head questioningly and looked at Baxter in confusion.

"Halfbreed?...What?..." Baxter mumbled he looked back at Toby also in confusion "have you heard that somewhere?"

Toby shrugged "Nope" he said matter-of-factly. Dread murmured inaudibly from her position in the crook of his arm.

"Greaaat bet someone is gonna know,oh also sorry for the change in subject,but have you ever heard of the narators?"

"no your not,i just investigate more,the narrators are insane,some going through tough shiz because they hear all of our stories,and tell them to others,so they know what happened to you,to me,to sorrow,and maybe...even they know what will happen to Dread"

"I don't know what happened to myself, do you know?" He asked Baxter curiously.

"Only faintly,you went insane after your sister died,then killed your father at one point thats all I know" He sighed

"What? Really? I don't remember any of that..." He said pensively.

"you apparently got amnesia" he shrugged "Wish I had amnesia,to forget all the shit in my past"

"I had a sister..?" He said somewhat softly, his gaze narrowed. "I don't remember anything at all" he sighed. "I just woke up suddenly, surrounded by all those guys" he flicked his tail towards the main room.
