"But that's the only thing I don't remember. You don't think... Maybe... Slendy did it?" He asked.

"he could have...why do you think im not a proxy of Zalgo or Slender?"

"S-Slendy saved me when I was in big trouble. I wouldn't leave him. I would never give up on Slender" he said defensively. "I like being a Proxy. I wouldn't be anything else. I wouldn't make it out there in the real world. I'm better off what and where I am. He did what was best" Toby said and turned his gray eyes down towards the kit. "Do you think Slendy could help her?" He asked "Like he helped me?"

he shook his head "Its been moons (months idk) even yearsToby,shes dead" he sighed looking at Toby

Toby's head snapped up "How could you say that?" he glared, his eyes filled with sudden rage. "Dont ever say that! We'll find a way to help her" he said defensively and wrapped his paw around her a bit tighter in defense.

"i will try...but if he doesn't if no one does,shes just gonna die..." he sighed and shut his eyes cuts forming on his body

As if on impulse, Toby turned his head to where his two blood-hatchets hanged. He could feel angered adrenaline pulse through his veins no... Don't Toby.... Calm down he thought to himself and took in a long breath. "Yeah? We'll see about that" Toby growled behind his mouthguard. He felt something stur behind him and turned to see Dread clawing her arms deeply in her sleep. "Hey hey hey! Dont do that remember? It doesnt help!" Toby said and ripped her claws away from her arms. She was still unconscious, but continued to try and claw hear already heavily scarred limbs in her sleep.

he whimpered when he saw Toby look at his hatchets,before looking at Dread "Oh crap"

Toby's ear twitched at seeing Baxter react that way but quickly went back to securing Dread. He pulled off his own gloves and put them over her own paws and tied the top of them so they fit. Toby's own paws were covered in old, tattered, blood-soaked bandages. In some areas that bandages no longer covered, there was raw, torn flesh that showed bone where he used to gnaw on his paws. The wounds would've been extremely painful, if he could feel it, that is.

he stared at his paws for a moment before looking at Dread "Thatll keep her from clawing herself"

"It kept me from eating the flesh off my fingers, it's bound the work for her" he said "Cats like me and her all have a habit of doing something. She claws her arms, I rip and chew the flesh off my paws, etc. It's apart of the disease" Toby said knowingly and went under his bed, when he came back he held a roll of old bandages. He wrapped the whole roll around one arm so it was so thick she couldn't get her claws through the material to hurt herself. He went under again and returned with another, doing the same thing to her other arm.

he nodded "ah also smart idea Tobes" he watched smiling

"That's what Slendy did to me. Put bandages over my paws so thickly my teeth couldn't get through them. Ah I remember those days before I had to wear this--" he pointed at his mouthguard "--and before Masky started calling me 'Metal-Mouth'" he said with a grin. Dread stirred again, realizing something was different. She looked to see thickly wrapped bandages all the way up to her shoulders. Suddenly pain shot through her from were she clawed her arms. She let out a soft whimper and placed a paw where it hurt. That's when she saw that black over-sized gloves had been put over her paws. The opening of the gloves had been tied securely so they wouldn't fall off. "....What...?" She said softly. She suddenly began coughing heavily, gripping her sides. She let out a moan of pain. Her lungs hurt to breath, and she felt blood trickling from the back of her throat.

He smiled before looking at Dread his eyes widening "Umm what happen?!"

She continued to cough, barley able to breathe. "I t...old him... No...." She rasped and continued back to coughing hard. Toby patted her back "She's fine" he said knowingly "If anything lets hope she doesn't get a case of Tourette's after this like I did. If I was branded just a year later I would not have this damn problem. Too bad I don't age, I would've grown out of it" he said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"oh ok..." he calmed down abit sighing before smelling an all to familiar smell and covering his nose

Blood dripped from her open jaws and puddled beneath her. She gasped for breath hard. Toby saw the blood and narrowed his eyes "That's new. Ok, plan b" he said quickly. "Keep telling it no. It's not getting control. Don't let it Dread" he encouraged. She nodded and closed her eyes. After a long moment of coughing blood, the coughing began to subside. She could now hear E whispering to her and turned her head to see a heavily muscled all white cat with icy blue eyes. Toby turned to see what she was staring at, but couldn't see anything. "I'm sorry" E said. "Evan is here, I'm sorry" he repeated. Suddenly so something changed about him, his eyes flashed a dark, yet pale purple color and a dark grin widened across his face. His voice changed. "You can hide for now, but your mind will grow weaker and weaker until you snap. They can't hide you from me. They can't save you my dear daughter. It's all a matter of time before you join me and the Rabbit. Until then, though. I will allow him to 'protect' you or whatever. But don't get too cozy. I'm going to take my daughter in the long future when I think you're ready. Until then I will allow them to observe and care for you. Regards" he ended ominously. She let out a terrified scream and backed up into Toby. She turned around and quickly took shelter in Toby's arms closely. Her breath hitched as she cried and whimpered. "What's wrong? What did you see?" Toby asked the kit nestled close in his arms for protection from the thing she saw. "White" she whimpered out. "What?" Toby asked in confusion "White!" She repeated louder in her fear.

Baxter was trying not to snap himself,damn blood and its yumminess! he he tried to say something only to end up with more of the smell of blood "white?...White cat maybe?"

A sharp tug of pain in her head made her cry again, and suddenly she didn't know. She once again forgot what he looked like. She once again forgot E's real name even though he had mentioned it clearly "I-I don't know. I don't know anymore. I did but.. But... I don't know!" She yelled in her confusion. "It's ok we're not pushing you" Toby said calmly and held her close in response in an attempt to calm the terrified and confused kit.

he sighed "yeah we wont,but this is getting stranger by the minute" he kept his paws over his muzzle so he couldn't spell any blood

Toby stared at Baxter closely "I know you want to help, but don't you think you should go air out or something?" Toby asked cautiously, concerned that he might snap or something and attack the kit.

"Yeah,give me a sec" he quickly jumped off the bed and out of the room
