The Marsh (hunting)

Sootblaze let out a thundering roar of anger and lunged, grabbing the cats skull with his paws and sinking his teeth deep into the beast's throat deeply. Sootblaze savagly jerked back hard until the flesh he had between his jaws tore out, spilling blood everywhere.

The cougars eyes bulged out of there sockets as his throat was ripped out. The tawny beats eyes looked at Lostpaw as the ember of life dimmed slowly. Awful gurgling sounds we're made by the large cat before he finally collapsed.

Blood covered Sootblaze's muzzle, neck, and chest. He quickly grabbed the apprentices scruff and dragged her out from underneith the huge, dead, tawny beast. "Foldedleaf! Shes hurt!" he called as he hurried over to him. "I'll take the kits, you go check on her ok?" he said.

Foldedleaf set the kits by their mother when she awoke, watching the fight. He bristled when he heard a snap. A brave apprentice Lostpaw was. He dipped his head to Sootblaze before grabbing the herbs he brought with him and rushing to the apprentice's side. "I'm sorry but this may hurt a little.." he said. Looking at her crooked leg. He looked at the damage before touching a spot on it where he thought it had broke lightly with his paw before putting the leg back in it's normal position. He grabbed his poppyseeds "Eat these.." he said, holding out a paw.

LostPaw yelped as her leg was snapped back in place, her eyes squeezed shut in pain. She looked at her leg, still burning in pain. The tuxedo nodded and accepted the seeds, before resting her head and letting out a groan. "It hurts so much!" She complained, before her quick breathing slowed and the apprentice fell asleep.

Foldedleaf stood as the apprentice fell asleep. "We need to get her back to camp, not to mention the kits. We'll each take a kit, Sootblaze, tell me if Lostpaw starts to slide off of me." Foldedleaf gently laid the apprentice across his back and grabbed his herbs and a kit before walking back to camp, careful not to move the apprentice on his back.

He nodded and turned to his mate "Can you walk..?" he whispered to her before picking up a kit.

"Im good, just focus on Lostpaw," she whispered softly as she grabbed the kit by the scruff. She didn't really hear any pitiful crus from them but shook it from her thoughts. She walked with a slight limp in her elegant strides.

He nodded and padded by the medicine cat, checking to make sure the apprentice wouldnt slide off. He made sure the kit in his jaws didnt swing around too much, and walked carefully.

Cinder Fire runs back and hisses at the rabid cougar. She bends down and whispers to the cougar. "You caused trouble alright! You will be remembered by Cinder Fire." She walks to her leader and licks her ear.

Silentsong reached Cinderfire and flicked his tail to Sootblaze, then at the cougar signaling that Sootblaze killed it. He craned his neck towards the leaving party, as if saying 'lets go'.

"How is she doing?" Sootblaze asked the medicine cat, talking about Lostpaw through the bundle of fur in his mouth.

Cinder Fire nods her head in understanding. She quietly follows him to his destination. I'm glad the cougar is gone, I just hope that there's no more around here.

(oh just as a reminder, that wasnt the cougar thats been stalking the clans, this is a different, and rabid one :3)

They soon caught up with the group, and Silentsong stayed close to Cinderfire his tail swishing in the air.

"One down, one more to go!" he said through the bundle in his mouth, talking about the cougars.

( I figured... :3 It's my character who doesn't know.)

Cinder Fire stares at Silentsong for a long moment. She feel a little connection with him. She slowly blinks her eyes and nods her head when Sootblaze spoke. She then turns her head and faces forward.

(she should, the cougar whose attacking the clan has a distictive blind eye. Silentsong gave it to the cougar when he was an apprentice)
 
Silentsong stayed next to Cinderfire the whole way to camp, the calico tom gave a warm smile to her before entering the camp.
 
Sootblaze entered the camp first, the small bundle in his mouth was letting out feeble cries now. The kit in his mouth was a black and white kit.

(Oh... I forgot about that...)

Cinder Fire returns his warm smile and licks his ear before she walks into the camp. Her stomach growls and she hurries to the fresh kill pile.

-Le Entrance (VultureClan Camp)-

RavenStar lagged behind, walking after just dying isnt a good combo little one." the black she cat set the stormy grey kit. He panted before picking him up and entering the camp.

-Camp Entrance-

Foldedleaf was the last to reach the camp. Steadying the apprentice on his back every now and then. He walked to his den.
-The Med Cat Den-

Silentsong flushed when Cinderfire licked his ear. He let out a small sigh as he watched her go, something in his pale yellow orbs. He entered camp next to Ravenstar.

Sootblaze entered when Foldedleaf entered, helping him whenever the apprentice started to slip off of his back.

-Le Entrance-

Cinder Fire trots into the marsh of the VultureClan. She catches up to Silentsong and flicks her tail. "So, do you want to split up and hunt alone or hunt together?"

He flicked his tail to her then him, signaling 'together' before padding along.

Cinder Fire nods her head and she flicks her tail. She begins to pad to a pond. She waits for her companion to reach her before she hunts in it.

He trotted along quickly to catch up, he let out a soft laugh again a smile still on his face.

Cinder Fire sits behind the shore. She waits for him to sit down and flicks her tail.

He padded over and sat down close to her.
