(Yeah and she has his last kits o3o that would be cute and sad :3 OH and one or two of the kits would look just like him! What if Lurkingflame's spirit is reincarnated into one of Shadowwhispers kits? :O! that would be cool and trippy!)

Lurkingflames breathing suddenly began to falter. His eyes opened for a second and he stared at his son and his mate. A small smile began to form across his muzzle as blood trickled through his open jaws. He opened his mouth and spoke raggedly "Im sorry... Ignitingpaw.. I failed... you... I.. love you... ShadowWhisper" His brilliant sulfur eyes suddenly began to dull out. He made a wretched coughing sound before suddenly everything stopped. His chest stopped heaving pathetically and his wheeze-like breathing stopped. He lied there still as a stone. The smile still on his face and his cold eyes on both Shadowwhisper and Ignitingpaw.

SilverBrook turned around as IgnitingPaw entered the den. His heart sank as the young feline asked him about LurkingFlame. SilverBrook turned back around, his head hanging. He'd have to give an honest answer. He turned back around to face IgnitingPaw with a sigh. "His lung has been punctured... That's one thing I can't fix. His fate nows rests in StarClan's paws." He meowed, his minty eyes looking into IgnitingPaw's. He then snapped back around as LurkingFlame began to speak. "No! StarClan, don't take him!" He yowled, rushing over to the herb supplies, but when he turned around, the tom was still. Silverbrook looked to his paws. "I... failed you all..." He mewed, before walking back to the limp tom. He touched the tom's ear lightly with his nose. "May you find peace in StarClan." Silverbrook whispered in sadness.

Tears fall out of ShadowWhisper's eyes. She bends down and licks her lost mate. She glances at Ignitingpaw. "I love you too..." She looks back at Lurkingflame.

AmberStar lowers her head and her eyes burn with fury. "Shadow, please help me drag him out of this den. We will mourn for him." Shadow nods her head and slowly helps AmberStar get him out of the medicine cat's den.

The sleek black tom stared with horror in his eyes, he didn't even notice that everything in the room had gone by. His dazed eyes turned very slowly to LurkingFlame, almost all emotion was whiped clean from his features. His fathers words echoed in his head as he shook his head in disbelif. Before relization hit him in his face he let out a pathetic, cry of dispair, the shriek of anguish echoed in the small room. He colapsed onto the carcass of his once living father, his moaning stiffled by the black and white fur that covered his mouth and nose, "Why?! What have I done to deserve this? This is some sick joke, StarClan! A terrible joke... his wails would never be heared as his body shook and jerked as he went into shock. Before he could do anything else Shadow and his leader took the body of LurkingFlame. He blindly tried to latch onto his dads pelt, it was his only reminder of peace and joy. The black tom tried to find some kind of comfort in this unforgetable pain he was in. No words could describe it. Nothing. Ignitingpaw lifted his head and dashed to ShadowWhisper pushing his head into her fur, stopping her from dragging her mate away from him. "please don't leave me, his voice shook and he whispered to her.

[Dang guys... I so started to cry there... I hate when I do that. XD I'm just tourtering myself.]

ShadowWhisper turns her head and looks at her step-son. She puts Lurkingflame's body down and nuzzles the apprentice. "I won't leave you-- or Fallingpaw," she replies calmly. She was actually surprised about his words.

Shortpaw poked her head in to see the body of Lurkingflame "I-is he..?" She stammered her eyes filled with sorrow.

SilverBrook sighed once again as Shortpaw entered the den. "He walks with StarClan now." The silver tabby murmured, looking at ShortPaw in the eyes. "I... I couldn't heal his collapsed lung..." The medicine cat added, wrapping his tail around his paws and hanging his head.

ShadowWhisper knows a little bit about healing, but not enough to be a medicine cat. How long could they hold it? I'm I going to hurt them more if I try to heal them. She looks down and prays to StarClan that the injured cats could be safe.

ShadowWhisper loses her patience and decides to help them out a little bit. She looks in his den for cobwebs and goldenrods and places them on FlamingGlare and Shortpaw's wounds. I'm not going to let you two bleed to death. What else should I do?

FlamingGlare peeked through one eye slightly conscience to what ShadowWhisper was doing. His belly felt numb with the dull ache in his head, the handsome tom didn't dare move or flinch.

ShadowWhisper gives FlamingGlare some poppy seeds and marigold. "Now, get some rest." She licks his ear and then she turns around to Shortpaw. She gives her poppy seeds and also licks her ear. "You should get some rest also."

AmberStar goes to Shortpaw and nudges her with one paw. "Shortpaw?" She waits for the apprentice to respond.

Frostfang pokes his head into the Medicine cat's den, he sees Shortpaw with a nick in her ear and Flameingglare with some nasty scratches 'What in Starclan's name happened?' he thought to himself. He looked around trying to find Briarpaw.

"She told us that she's going to ask Shortpaw for herself. If he did that to her, he will get punishments." Briarpaw uses her tail to point to AmberStar, who was next to Shortpaw.
